PVC Junction boxes are surface mounted enclosures without entrance hubs which allows multiple conduits to be connected and wire splices to be made within. An appropriate round hole for conduit entrance must be cut. Terminal (male) adapters or junction box adapters may be used to secure conduits to the box. PVC Junction Boxes may be concrete encased or buried but not they are NOT warranted or listed to be watertight for all circumstances.

Heavy duty box that is well constructed, shipping was faster then expected. Even though the caption does state the product may vary from picture it is not even close. The box in the picture is a Cantex with the heavy-duty tabs on the side. The actual box received has the two tabs in the corners and much thiner then the depicted in the picture. The cost of returning the six I had ordered is not worth sending them back and I will keep them for other possible projects.
